    We are currently seeking to expand our support services to Irish people with Dementia.

    We are offering an initial 12 month contract for this post

    As Dementia Support Worker your primary objective will be to provide excellent quality support to Irish people with dementia and their carers

    We are looking for a motivated individual with substantial experience in dementia care. You will be responsible for piloting a range of services in order to provide choice for Irish people with dementia and their carers

    Key to this role is:

  • Excellent communication skills


  • The ability to assess and respond to the needs of service users and carers appropriately


  • The ability to involve service users and carers in their plans and assessing and minimising risk


  • A developing interest and insight into the needs of Irish people’s health and well-being


  • Closing date is 12 midday on Monday 15th March 2010

    Interviews will be held on Monday 29th March 2010

    COMMUNCIATIONS AND MARKETING MANAGER
    Salary NJC PO1/2 (Pt 33-38) £27, 849 to £31, 753

    As our Communications and Marketing Manager your primary objective is to raise awareness of LIHH to all key stakeholders.

    This post is initially funded for 18 months.

    We are looking for a motivated individual with substantial experience in communications and marketing. You will be responsible for all aspects of our brand development and public relations including media opportunities, the website and public presentations.

    Key to this role is:

  • The ability to build relationships with people


  • Excellent skills in copywriting and communications


  • Ability to define individual priorities, set realistic milestones and work to deadlines


  • Understanding of public affairs, Government policy and the position of the voluntary sector


  • Closing date is 12 midday, Monday 15th March 2010

    Interviews will be held on Friday 26th March 2010.
